How are those New Year’s resolutions coming along? If you’re not doing them anymore, don’t be too hard on yourself. Many people didn’t stick to their resolutions past national “Ditch New Year’s Resolution Day” (Jan 17th). Sometimes what we set out to do in December isn’t truly a priority for us. Dr. Laurie Santos, the host, is a cognitive scientist and professor of psychology at Yale University. In this podcast, she takes you through the latest scientific research on happiness, provides practical applications for changes you could make, and shares inspiring stories. The research often contradicts what we think would make us happy.
